Susan Black Allen

Susan Black Allen is a psychotherapist who has published essays and poems on mental health, relationships, and parenting in The Boston Sunday Globe Magazine, the San Diego Poetry Annual Anthology, and for the non-profit This is My Brave.

Ms. Black Allen moved to San Diego in 2015 from Boston after a winter with 110 inches of snow. San Diego is now one of the top loves of her life. She’s pretty fond of her daughter Emmy, fiancé Mark, dog Poppy and cat Finn, too.
